Out-Of-Province Students are responsible for determining their own eligibility and securing temporary licensure for course attendance in a province other than their residence/clinical practice province. Please consult the PT College website of the province you are visiting to learn about requirements (they vary from province to province).

We suggest not making non-refundable travel arrangements until after the course has been fully confirmed as running - you will be notified shortly after registration closes (3 weeks from the start of the course).

** Proof of completion of Level 1 is required to begin the course. Please be able to produce the certificate upon request, but you do not need to bring to class.

The New Orthopaedic Division e-Manuals (online) are the required reference materials for this course.  The fee for the e-Manuals is a ONE-TIME fee of $125.00+tax which grants you access to the clinical techniques manual for the highest Level of course you have participated in, as well as the e-Theory Manual. Your access to the "living" updated versions of the manuals will remain in place as long as you participate in an AIM Level Course every two years. If two years lapse since your last course with us, you will still have access to the manuals, but not their future updated versions.

If you have never paid the $125.00 fee you will be provided with instructions to complete the purchase about 2-4 weeks before the start of the course.

If you have paid the $125.00 previously (including at Level 1) your access/permissions will automatically be upgraded about 2-4 weeks before the start of the course.

There are also recommended text books along with the new e-manuals.  You can start looking to purchase the following texts to compliment:

Moore’s Clinically Oriented Anatomy 8th edition – Keith Moore, Arthur Dailey, Anne Agur. Wolters Kluwer/Lippincott Williams and Wilkins 2014.

Grieve’s Modern Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy 4th Edition – Gwen Jull, Ann Moore, Deborah Falla, Jeremy Lewis, Christopher McCarthy, Michele Stirling. Elsevier 2015.

Differential Diagnosis for Physical Therapists 5th edition – Catherine Goodman, Teresa Snyder, Elsevier 2013.
