AIM Level 4 - ON Central, Fall 2025
Description
The purpose of Level 4 is to teach the treatment of spinal, pelvic and costal joint dysfunction safely and effectively by manipulation*. An emphasis is placed on clinical reasoning and indications/contraindications of these treatment techniques.
*Manipulation is a skillful high velocity, low amplitude thrust movement of a joint beyond its physiological limit, but within anatomical limits with the purpose of restoring movement and function.

Registration deadlines are in place to ensure the integrity of the course being offered. Therefore, a $50 late fee will be applied to any student who wishes to register once the registration deadline date has passed.
ATTENDANCE FOR ALL CLASS TIME IS MANDATORY. IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND THIS COURSE IN ITS ENTIRETY YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO REGISTER & CANNOT BE GIVEN CREDIT FOR THE COURSE.

Registration will be refunded in full if the course is cancelled by the participant more than a month prior to the start of the course, less a $25.00 admin fee.
A $250.00 cancellation fee applies if you cancel your registration within a month of the start of the course. Once the course has started no refund can be issued.
Out-Of-Province Students are responsible for determining their own eligibility and securing temporary licensure for course attendance in a province other than their residence/clinical practice province. Please consult the PT College website of the province you are visiting to learn about requirements (they vary from province to province).
We suggest not making non-refundable travel arrangements until after the course has been fully confirmed as running - you will be notified shortly after registration closes (3 weeks from the start of the course).
** Proof of completion of the IPE is required to begin the course. Please be able to produce the certificate upon request, but you do not need to bring to class.
The New Orthopaedic Division e-Manuals (online) are the required reference materials for this course. The fee for the e-Manuals is a ONE-TIME fee of $125.00+tax which grants you access to the clinical techniques manual for the highest Level of course you have participated in, as well as the e-Theory Manual. Your access to the "living" updated versions of the manuals will remain in place as long as you participate in an AIM Level Course every two years. If two years lapse since your last course with us, you will still have access to the manuals, but not their future updated versions.
If you have never paid the $125.00 fee you will be provided with instructions to complete the purchase about 2-4 weeks before the start of the course.
If you have paid the $125.00 previously (including at Level 1) your access/permissions will automatically be upgraded about 2-4 weeks before the start of the course.
There are also recommended text books along with the new e-manuals. You can start looking to purchase the following texts to compliment:

- Differential Diagnosis for Physical Therapists 5th edition – Catherine Goodman, Teresa Snyder, Elsevier 2013.
